Frequently asked questions
Do I need a GP referral for the Women's Health Assessment?
No. You can book directly. If the assessment shows something that needs specialist care, we can refer you to a consultant gynaecologist.
Will a woman carry out my scan?
You can request a female sonographer when you book, and we will accommodate this wherever possible. A chaperone is available for every appointment.
What does the blood panel cover?
The panel includes markers relevant to women's health, such as hormone and general health indicators, chosen to match your symptoms. Your clinician explains what each result means for you.
When will I get my results?
Scan and examination findings are explained on the day. Blood results and a full written report follow within 24 hours.
